Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced practitioner to lead our in-house legal wills and trusts offering. The successful candidate will work closely with financial advisers and tax specialists to design and implement effective estate planning solutions for high-net-worth clients.

The role involves drafting complex wills, discretionary and lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, and powers of attorney. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IHT, CGT, and trust taxation issues and be able to handle complex HNW/UHNW client cases.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of our in-house legal wills and trusts offering
  • Draft complex wills, discretionary and lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, and powers of attorney
  • Provide technical guidance and support to financial advisers and clients
  • Oversee compliance and risk management for legal outputs
  • Build and manage a small, high-performing team as the service expands
  • Maintain the highest standards of client care and confidentiality

Requirements:

  • Full TEP Practitioner
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in wills, trusts, and estate planning
  • Proven ability to handle complex HNW/UHNW client cases
  • Strong understanding of IHT, CGT, and trust taxation issues
  • Commercially minded, collaborative, and able to operate with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working within a financial services environment
