QEHS Professional Opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced QEHS Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality, environmental, health, and safety standards in solar or infrastructure projects.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct QA/QC inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established protocols.
  • Implement HIRA, JSA, and other safety protocols to minimize risk and promote a safe working environment.
  • Ensure environmental compliance on site by adhering to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all QEHS activities, including inspection reports, audit results, and training records.
  • Provide QEHS training and conduct Toolbox Talks to educate staff on relevant policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and report incidents/near-misses, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Enforce work permit systems and site compliance to prevent accidents and ensure a healthy and safe working environment.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering or HSE-related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in QEHS Engineer (Quality, Environment, Health & Safety) roles within solar or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards, safety laws, and best practices related to QEHS.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with QEHS Engineer software tools, such as auditing and risk management software.
  • Audit and risk management skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Strong documentation and communication abilities, with excellent written and verbal skills.
