Senior Research Scientist

As a senior microbiologist, you will be responsible for leading laboratory operations and experiments. You will prepare study protocols aligned with regulatory guidelines and conduct experiments in the laboratory according to established protocols and guidelines.
You will oversee daily equipment maintenance, maintain adequate stock of materials, and ensure cleanliness and disinfection procedures in accordance with applicable SOPs.
In addition, you will report results as per the objectives defined in the protocol and maintain accurate logbooks.
You will also guide, supervise, and train junior staff to maintain the quality of technical work in the section and demonstrate professional conduct when interacting with patients, laboratory personnel, healthcare professionals, and the public.
Required Skills & QualificationsMasters degree or PhD in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field; specialization in clinical or medical microbiology preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a clinical research or microbiology laboratory, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role;
Proven experience with microbial cultures, sampling, and analysis in research settings, ideally related to infectious diseases or oral health.
Familiarity with regulatory standards such as ICH-GCP, GLP, and SOPs for clinical trials.
