Business Process Optimization Specialist

Lead initiatives to harmonize business processes and optimize target operating models across the region. Drive continuous improvement through effective technology deployment, high-performance agency network management, and regional improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Harmonization:

Implement standardized approaches to operations, collaborating with regional business owner teams to review and refine target operating models for efficiency and effectiveness. Bring regional process specificities and requirements to HO.

• Technology Deployment:

Identify and prioritize automation opportunities to reduce manual processes and operational redundancies. Promote best practice sharing between agencies.

• High-Performance Agency Network Management:

Develop a high-performance mindset within regional agencies. Monitor and coach QPMs to improve agency performance, driving initiatives for best practices sharing, performance benchmarking, and continuous improvement.

• Regional Improvement Projects:

Lead regional improvement projects focusing on waste reduction, simplification, and efficiency gains. Conduct assessments to uncover opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and simplification across functions. Engage stakeholders to drive a culture of continuous improvement and ensure project alignment.

• Regional Deployments:

Deploy target operating models in the region's challenge to minimize exceptions and manage Country Manager expectations. Implement new tools and processes within the Region, monitoring implementation and adoption before handover to Business units.

• Project Management & HO Contribution:

Participate in HO global projects, working closely with HO BEX teams and external teams to manage effective project implementation. Act as a focal point for the region, providing regional specificities and process needs. Collaborate with Agencies during GBS transition projects.

• Implementation of New Clusters or Agencies:

Lead the setup and implementation of new regional clusters or agencies, ensuring alignment with business standards and operational targets. Provide guidance on standard operating procedures, resource allocation, and technology requirements for new entities. Ensure smooth integration and adherence to the target operating model.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management.
• At least 3 years of managerial experience in project management and/or business process improvement.
• Certification in LEAN Six Sigma, Project Management advantageous.
• Strategic Vision: Ability to see the big picture and align operational processes with strategic business goals.
• Change Management: Skilled in managing change effectively to drive the adoption of new processes and technologies.
• Technology Acumen: Knowledgeable about new and emerging technologies, identifying and deploying relevant tools for process improvement.
• Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proactive in identifying opportunities to reduce waste, automate tasks, and simplify workflows (Lean and Six Sigma knowledge).
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, assess performance, and inform process optimizations.
