Manufacturing and Operations Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Manufacturing and Operations Engineer.

This is an ideal position for someone with expertise in process optimization, supplier negotiations, and lean manufacturing who can contribute to process improvements, production efficiency, and supply chain management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Vendor search and development
  • Negotiating with suppliers to optimize material costs and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial vendor relationships
  • Setting up manufacturing and quality control processes at the contract manufacturer's location
  • Procurement of raw materials and semi-finished goods for lifestyle products
  • Overseeing the implementation of ERP (Odoo) and project management (Jira) systems to elevate visibility and streamline workflows
  • Business operations including certifications, pricing, logistics
  • Inventory management to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
  • Executing rapid R&D prototyping to reduce lead times for new component designs, improving agility and speed to market
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational excellence

Requirements include:

  • Able to independently navigate challenges using problem-solving skills
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Background in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration
  • 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setup
