Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Quality Assurance professional to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have experience in software testing, bug tracking, and test management tools.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in overall testing activities, approaches, and strategies as part of the QA team.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain testing documents (test plan, test cases, test reports) for complete test coverage.
  • Manage proper execution on different types of testing (functional, integration, end-to-end, performance, etc).
  • Facilitate and participate in regular QA team meetings or triage calls.
  • Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups in Agile environments.
  • Manage risks and deliverables to ensure that testing activities remain within agreed scope, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Work with project managers and development teams to report and escalate relevant testing issues and challenges.
  • Provide effort and estimates of testing activities required for projects or deliverables when needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience as Software QA.
  • Client facing experience.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA/AzureDevOps.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related qualifications.
  • Experience in Agile testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Automation & Accessibility would be an asset.
