Private Equity Valuation Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Private Equity Valuation Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, credit analysis, and data analysis.

Job Description:

The Private Equity Valuation Expert will be responsible for conducting comprehensive valuation assessments of private equity investments, including venture capital, buyouts, and real estate assets. This involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing valuation models and methodologies tailored to specific asset classes.

The expert will also collaborate with the Investment Team to assess and mitigate risks associated with existing investments. This includes performing due diligence on new investment opportunities, analyzing financial statements, market dynamics, and risk factors.

The Private Equity Valuation Expert will create and maintain complex financial models to estimate the value of investments, considering revenue projections and exit strategies. They will also monitor the financial performance of portfolio companies, track key performance indicators, and identify strategies for value enhancement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience in private equity valuations within the financial services industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis, and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessing credit risk, financial statement analysis, and interpreting complex financial data.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Candidates with a CFA designation or those actively pursuing the CFA program will be given preference.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Bloomberg, and other relevant financial analysis tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex financial information effectively.
