Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and valuing private equity investments, including venture capital, buyouts, and real estate assets.
  • Developing and maintaining valuation models and methodologies tailored to specific asset classes, ensuring accuracy and precision in financial assessments.
  • Collaborating with the Investment Team to assess and mitigate risks associated with existing investments, providing informed guidance on strategic decisions.
  • Conducting due diligence on new investment opportunities, analyzing financial statements, market dynamics, and risk factors to identify potential growth areas.
  • Creating and maintaining complex financial models to estimate the value of investments, considering revenue projections and exit strategies for optimal returns.
  • Maintaining oversight of portfolio companies, tracking key performance indicators, and identifying strategies for value enhancement, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Preparing detailed valuation reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating complex financial information.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, with a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in private equity valuations within the financial services industry, demonstrating expertise in credit analysis, financial modeling, and data analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Bloomberg, and other relevant financial analysis tools, with advanced knowledge of financial modeling techniques and best practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessing credit risk, financial statement analysis, and interpreting complex financial data, with a keen eye for detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information effectively to various audiences.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
