Sales Leader for Industrial Machinery

Kennametal Inc., a leading provider of materials science and technical expertise, seeks an experienced Sales Leader to drive business growth in the Machine Tool segment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Field Sales and Marketing initiatives at the Chennai Region, focusing on WIDMA Products, including SPM, Deep Hole Drilling Machines, Vertical Turning Machines, and Fixture Tooling solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly order book targets
  • Manage customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and expand the customer base
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust the sales strategy
  • Analyze data, generate regular sales reports, and provide insights to the leadership team

Requirements:

  • BE (Mechanical / Mechatronics /Prod. Engg) or DME degree
  • At least 10 years of experience in Capital Machinery Sales to Industrial Segments, preferably in the Machine Tool field
  • Strong techno-commercial business acumen and ability to understand customer issues
