Kennametal Inc., a leading manufacturer of industrial tools and wear-resistant solutions, seeks a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead Field Sales and Marketing initiatives in the Chennai region.

As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving monthly Order Book, Sales & Business Development for WIDMA products. You will also develop and execute sales growth strategies for the assigned region, managing Opportunity Pipelines and forecasting Order Book targets.

Key responsibilities will include coordinating with Product Managers at Head Office to ensure timely quotation submissions, interfacing with customers, and leading techno-commercial discussions to finalise orders. Additionally, you will be responsible for customer satisfaction, managing relationships with key customers and partners, and identifying new business opportunities.

Requirements include a BE (Mechanical / Mechatronics / Prod. Engg) or DME degree, with at least 10 years of experience in Capital Machinery Sales to Industrial Segments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and tackle problems independently, are essential.

Reporting and analytics skills are also required, with the ability to generate regular sales reports, analyse data, and provide insights to the leadership team. Compliance with company policies, legal guidelines, and ethical standards is also a must.
