Job Description:

The Supply Chain Coordinator is a crucial role that drives efficiency and effectiveness across the supply chain. This position involves coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless communication, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing strategies to optimize processes.

  • Problem-Solving: Leverages the materials planning system as a primary tool in day-to-day operations, identifying and resolving complex problems.
  • Plan for Every Part (PFEP): Uses PFEP principles to plan, design, and manage systems and processes within facilities, ensuring delivery of the right part at the right time and place.
  • Inventory Management and Optimization: Determines optimal inventory levels across the supply chain, considering constraints such as warehouse space and customer delivery requirements.
  • Provides guidance and expertise on planning parameter refinement, developing inventory strategies to support business objectives.
  • Operates in relation to recent or historical outputs compared to expectations, assessing gaps to supply chain performance and interpreting KPIs to understand end-customer impact.
  • Strategically balances trade-offs to influence one KPI while minimizing the impact on others.
  • Uses statistical analysis and collaborates with other disciplines to provide a long-term view of customer demand, ensuring the supply plan is aligned with the demand plan.
  • Recognizes the value of different perspectives and cultures, promoting a culture of inclusivity and diversity.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience meeting applicable regulations.
  • Experience: Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience in an equivalent field such as materials planning, production scheduling, manufacturing, or inventory control.
