Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Professional to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for high-quality software releases.

This position is ideal for someone with expertise in testing methodologies, scripting, and automation tools, who is passionate about delivering stable and scalable tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test scripts for web, mobile, API, or desktop applications.
  • Create robust automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright, Postman, or RestAssured.
  • Integrate automated tests with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) and development teams to understand testing needs and convert manual test cases into automation.
  • Conduct functional, regression, performance, and API testing.
  • Analyze test results and report defects, bugs, and performance issues to development teams.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, results, and defect logs.
  • Generate and share test coverage and execution reports with stakeholders.
  • Ensure traceability between test cases and business/technical requirements.
  • Work closely with developers, QA analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure test environments are properly configured.
  • Promote test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) practices when appropriate.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation strategies, tools, and techniques.

Skill and Experience Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience in test automation or software testing roles.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Experience with test automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
  • Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Agile methodologies, and testing techniques.
