You will be working in Automation team based in Bhubaneswar, India, where you will be responsible for development of PLC logic, HNI Screens, simulating and testing the logic, following quality & testing with check lists, preparing project documentations, writing operator manuals, onsite commissioning & remote support for different long product steel rolling mill automation projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement PLC logics
  • Create user-friendly HMI Screens
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PLC software in Automation projects
  • Support commissioning activities in the plant
  • Follow up and take responsibility for Software incidents and issues occurred in the plants
  • Define solutions and validate them in alignment with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other developers and engineers to ensure project success
  • Document solutions and changes in systems according to internal and external requirements
Requirements:
  • Experience in PLC Programming: Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell RsLogix
  • Experience in HMI: Aveva Intouch, Siemens Wincc, FactoryTalk
  • Familiarity with Field Sensors, Industrial Instrumentation, Network protocols
  • Onsite PLC commissioning Experience
  • Possess good communication skills and ability to work in a high-profile environment
  • Travel Requirements: 30-40%
Your Background:
  • Education: B.E. / B.Tech – Electrical / Electronics/ Instrumentation
  • Work Experience: 2-4 years
  • Plant maintenance or project experience in long steel products rolling mills is an asset
  • Proficient in MS-Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
