Lead Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Architect to spearhead our data strategy and drive business outcomes. This is a critical role that will involve designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems.

About the Role

As a Lead Data Architect, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to define and implement data architecture solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable data architectures that meet business needs.
  • Leverage modern data tools and technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to define and prioritize data initiatives.
  • Mentor and lead junior data architects to ensure knowledge transfer and growth.
  • Develop and maintain technical standards and best practices for data engineering.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture with 5+ years leading teams.
  • Strong expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Solid understanding of database design principles and data governance.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks.
