Job Title: Taxation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Taxation Specialist to lead our taxation efforts and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize our company's tax position while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure that our organization remains compliant with all applicable tax requirements.
  • Tax Reporting: Prepare and review tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other filings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Tax Audits: Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, working to resolve issues efficiently and minimize tax exposure.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct tax research and analysis to support tax planning initiatives, identify tax-saving opportunities, and mitigate tax risks.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to team members on tax-related matters to enhance their understanding and effectiveness in tax compliance and planning.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and operations teams, to ensure alignment of tax strategies with business objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess tax risks associated with business activities and transactions, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Special Projects: Lead or participate in special tax projects as assigned by management, such as M&A transactions, restructuring activities, or tax optimization initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in tax processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
