Localization Director

We are seeking an experienced Localization Director to lead our global localization activities. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and strategic skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the vision for reference material creation, aggregation, and distribution. They will work closely with other members of the Senior Leadership team to define, refine, and operate a world-class localization operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Create and execute plans to support clients in a fast-changing industry and new technologies.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Supervise daily operations of the team, allocate work to staff based on volume, timing, complexity, proficiency, and bandwidth.
  • Maintain Relationships and Communication: Maintain relationships with stakeholders across our Global Content Operations division and key vendors.
Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven Experience: Significant experience in post-production technical operations, preferably in a global context.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, including strategic planning, team management, and communication.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrate initiative in problem-solving from identification through to solution.
