Life Science Design Engineer

Expertise in life science and biopharma design engineering is required for this role.
Key responsibilities include creating and reviewing process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) according to industry standards and good manufacturing practices (GMP). The ideal candidate will also develop 3D models for process skids and plant piping systems using industry-standard software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent communication and documentation skills, are necessary for success in this position. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is also required.
Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 5-15 years of experience in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Create and review P&IDs following industry standards and GMP requirements.
- Develop 3D models for process skids and plant piping systems using industry-standard software.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including process, mechanical, and automation engineers.
Desirable skills include experience with modular/skid design, knowledge of cleaning and sterilization processes, and ability to ensure compliance with ASME BPE standards.
