Job Overview:

Nouryon's Logistics Specialist - Freight is a vital role that requires coordination, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring timely payments to service providers and reconciling statements of accounts.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate US-based international freight payment process
  • Manage 75-100 freight invoices daily
  • Resolve invoice errors with service providers
  • Reconcile service providers' statements of accounts

The Logistics Specialist - Freight will support the US International team in facilitating payment of freight invoices.

This position is critical in supporting day-to-day shipment/transportation activities.

Requirements:
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Transportation Management Systems (TMS)

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, is an asset.

Knowledge of transportation industry terminology and regulations is desirable.
