Job Overview:

The Logistics and International Trade Manager will oversee the end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring seamless coordination with procurement, warehousing, and distribution teams.

  • Lead the planning and execution of inbound and outbound freights in collaboration with regional counterparts.
  • Manage daily logistics tasks, including shipment tracking, documentation, and vendor coordination.
  • Ensure accurate preparation and verification of critical documentation: bills of lading, certificates of origin, customs forms, etc.
  • Coordinate import/export operations, working closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.

International Trade Expertise:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize international trade operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Negotiate contracts, coordinate shipments, and build relationships with suppliers and customs authorities.
  • Maintain detailed records, track goods, identify opportunities to reduce taxes and duties, and analyze logistics efficiency.
  • Monitor and control import/export budgets, track expenses, and analyze margins to drive business growth.
  • Identify and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities through optimized shipping methods and strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential threats.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in international trade regulations and adapt procedures accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
