Jira Configuration Expert

The role of a Jira Configuration Specialist involves designing and implementing Jira environments to support project tracking, issue management, and agile workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Environment Setup and Maintenance
    • Configure and maintain Jira projects, workflows, permissions, and custom fields
    • Manage Jira user accounts and groups
  • Workflow and Issue Management
    • Create and manage issue types, screens, and field configurations
    • Implement and maintain custom workflows tailored to project needs
    • Track and manage review cycles using Jira for various stages
  • Automation and Scripting
    • Set up automation rules for notifications, transitions, and field updates
    • Use scripting tools and plugins to enhance Jira functionality
  • Reporting and Dashboards
    • Develop dashboards and reports for stakeholders using Jira and integrated tools
    • Analyze EPIC-level data for planning and implementation tracking
  • User Support and Training
    • Provide support to users on Jira usage and best practices
    • Conduct training sessions and create help documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mandatory Skills: PowerBI, Tableau, UML diagrams, M365 Suites of Products, Design Thinking And Ideation Workshops, Jira Service Desk, Agile (Value-Driven Delivery)
