Solutions Consultant Role

This pivotal role is a key member of the pre-sales team responsible for supporting application security portfolios in India. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Sales to design customer-centric solutions, deliver impactful demos and PoCs, and guide organizations on best practices in application security.

  • Conduct technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, PoCs, and workshops for application security solutions.
  • Prepare responses for technical sections of RFIs/RFPs and address customer queries.
  • Guide customers in adopting application security within DevSecOps and secure SDLC practices.
  • Partner with Sales, Services, Product Management, and Support teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Build reusable technical assets (presentations, demo scripts, FAQs).
  • Conduct partner enablement workshops and provide technical guidance for channel engagements.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, compliance requirements, and application security best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or consulting in application security or enterprise software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of security testing tools and methodologies (DAST, SAST, SCA, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, Bash).
  • Experience with application security tools like Fortify, Checkmarx, Snyk, Veracode, or Burp Suite.
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and secure coding practices.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
