Cloud Security Specialist

As a key member of our team, the Cloud Security Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring secure and compliant connectivity for designated client environments. This involves maintaining and updating Zscaler security policies, access controls, and authentication settings to ensure alignment with organizational standards and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:- Policy Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date Zscaler security policies, ensuring seamless integration with organizational systems.
- System Monitoring & Reporting: Continuously monitor Zscaler dashboards for alerts, anomalies, and performance metrics, providing regular reports to clients on threat activity, usage trends, and compliance status.
- User Support & Issue Resolution: Provide prompt and effective user support for Zscaler-related issues, collaborating with IT teams to resolve connectivity, access, and policy-related problems.
- Documentation & Change Management: Maintain detailed documentation, including configuration records, troubleshooting guides, network diagrams, and change logs, ensuring all updates follow established change management protocols.
- Client Engagement & Coordination: Participate in client meetings, status calls, and planning sessions, communicating technical updates, policy changes, and recommendations clearly and professionally.
- Compliance & Audit Support: Support client compliance initiatives by ensuring Zscaler configurations align with regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, GDPR), assisting with audit preparation and evidence collection.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in IT security administration, with hands-on experience managing Zscaler or similar cloud-based platforms preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX configuration and management, understanding of networking fundamentals, and knowledge of identity provisioning and endpoint protection platforms.
