Job Summary:

This is a key leadership role in the Reservations Platform organization, responsible for overseeing the technical direction and strategy of the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and architecture, with experience in managing cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical vision and direction to the team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
  • Architecture and Design: Develop and maintain the overall architecture of the Reservations Platform, including designing and implementing new features and systems.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of software engineers, architects, and other technical staff, providing guidance and mentorship to help them grow in their careers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams within the organization, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation and experimentation within the team, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience: In software engineering and architecture, with a strong background in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Technical expertise: Proficiency in Java, NoSQL, Spring Boot, WebFlux, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Leadership skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Agile methodologies: Experience working in agile environments, with a strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, logging, metrics, monitoring, tracing, service mesh, LTM, GTM, SEO, and API platforms.
  • Certifications: Relevant technology certifications, such as SAFe Agile or ITIL v3 Framework.

Location: Hyderabad, India.
