Job Overview

As a Backend Engineer, you will be part of our core engineering team, working closely with the leadership and product team to build a global-scale education platform. You will take end-to-end ownership of features, solving challenges across scalability, system design, performance optimization, and integrations. Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable APIs and microservices using Node.js (or equivalent frameworks).
  • Optimize backend systems for performance, security, reliability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, frontend engineers to deliver seamless features.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, system design, technology stack choices.
  • Write clean, maintainable well-documented code following best practices.
  • Monitor debug continuously improve backend systems.
  • Stay updated with emerging backend technologies implement innovative solutions.
Desired Skills Qualifications
  • 2+ years professional backend development experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Node.js Express.js or similar frameworks.
  • Solid understanding web application architecture databases SQL/NoSQL caching strategies.
  • Experience cloud platforms AWS/GCP/Azure CI/CD pipelines containerization Docker/Kubernetes plus.
  • Ability analyze complex problems design scalable efficient solutions.
