Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Development & Institutional Growth
  • We identify and pursue opportunities with foundations, multilaterals, and government agencies.
  • We conceptualize and design proposals tailored to client needs.
  • We forge and sustain strategic partnerships with NGOs, research institutions, and ecosystem actors.
Project Design, Management & Implementation
  • We lead the design and delivery of impact evaluations, landscape studies, needs assessments, and strategy advisory projects.
  • We oversee project delivery, including workplans, methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and analysis.
  • We ensure outputs maintain high standards of rigor, contextual sensitivity, and alignment with global evidence frameworks.
Data Management & Analytics
  • We clean, manage, and analyze large datasets using advanced Excel, R, and/or Python.
  • We develop and implement data quality protocols.
  • We support dashboards, data visualizations, and evidence-based recommendations.
Organizational Strategy & growth
  • We work closely with senior leadership to shape our growth strategy and annual operating plans.
  • We design organizational structures and role definitions to strengthen internal capacity.
  • We lead internal strategy workshops, aligning teams with our mission and client priorities.
Team Leadership & Capacity Building
  • We build, manage, and mentor multidisciplinary teams.
  • We define and monitor individual and team roles during fieldwork, data analysis, and client interactions.
  • We build internal capacities through ongoing guidance and training.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in research, analytics, monitoring and evaluation, or related fields.
  • A strong theoretical foundation with practical application skills.
  • Proven track record in proposal development, project design, and research execution.
  • High-level data analysis skills, including Excel, R, or Python.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within small teams.
  • Familiarity with development sector stakeholders is an advantage.
