System Administrator Position

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis administrator to oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our SAP systems.

  • This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless operations and project implementations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Basis administration and be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting SAP systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor SAP systems, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
  • Perform system performance tuning and troubleshooting to optimize SAP landscapes.
  • Conduct system refreshes, client copies, and transports between environments.
  • Implement and maintain SAP security, roles, and authorizations.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to support SAP application performance and resolve issues.
  • Manage system backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Monitor and analyze system logs, performance metrics, and system health.
  • Coordinate with SAP support and handle escalations for system-related issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and other SAP products.
  • Proficiency in database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, HANA).
  • Experience with OS platforms such as Linux, Windows, or UNIX.
  • Knowledge of SAP Security concepts and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
