Proactive SAP Basis and BTP Expert

This pivotal role integrates core SAP Basis administration expertise with the support of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services. The successful candidate will ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of SAP systems while facilitating key BTP services for development and integration teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic System Administration:
    • Design and implement system installations, upgrades, patching, transport management, user administration, and system monitoring to meet business needs.
  • BTP Enablement:
    • Configure secure connectivity between on-premise systems and BTP using SAP Cloud Connector to drive innovation.
    • Support BTP configuration for services such as Integration Suite, Advanced Event Mesh, and Business Application Studio to streamline operations.
    • Manage BTP subaccounts, entitlements, roles, and service instances to optimize resource allocation.
  • Development Partnership:
    • Collaborate with development and integration teams to establish platform setup, connectivity, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Ensure proper access control and compliance with IT and security standards to safeguard data and systems.
  • Knowledge Management:
    • Document system configurations and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and process improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in SAP Basis administration with a focus on strategic system planning.
  • Understanding of SAP BTP or willingness to learn and apply new skills.
  • Ability to analyze system connectivity and basic cloud concepts to drive informed decision-making.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
