Role Summary:

This position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Legal Counsel, providing comprehensive legal support to various agencies across South Asia.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Providing legal advice on commercial, employment, intellectual property, data privacy, ethics, compliance, and generative artificial intelligence (GAI) matters.
  • Managing litigation and arbitration matters, including civil, criminal, labour, property, and commercial disputes.
  • Drafting and negotiating medium to high complexity commercial agreements.
  • Collating and maintaining records and correspondence relating to litigation and compliance matters.
  • Delivering training and legal risk management initiatives to senior management.

Requirements for this role include:

  • LL.B with 6-8 years post-qualification experience as an in-house lawyer and/or in law firms.
  • Strong commercial acumen and solution-oriented approach.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Ability to identify legal risks, issues, and solutions across a broad spectrum of legal areas.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
