We are currently seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team of professionals. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual with strong geotechnical expertise and experience in structural and infrastructure projects.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for conducting geotechnical investigations, preparing reports, and providing technical support to our clients. Your role will involve coordinating with field teams, reviewing data, and analyzing the results to inform project decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting scope of work for field/lab testing agencies;
- Coordinating with field teams to resolve technical queries;
- Reviewing and summarizing borehole data to assist in structural design and foundation decisions;
- Preparing detailed Geotechnical Interpretation Reports, including safe bearing capacity, pile capacity, soil spring constants, liquefaction analysis, and soil-structure interaction;
- Securing approval of reports from relevant authorities;
- Reviewing field tests, such as pile load tests and plate load tests;
- Supporting pre-bid engineering activities and representing the company in technical meetings.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in geotechnical investigation/reporting;
- Strong civil engineering fundamentals and site coordination skills;
- Proficient in preparing design summaries and technical documentation;
- Effective communicator and team player.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with LPILE, WALLAP, PLAXIS, or equivalent geotechnical software;
- Exposure to ground anchoring and improvement techniques;
- Prior experience with infrastructure or structural projects.
