Job Opportunity for Performance and Monitoring Engineer

A position has opened up for a skilled Performance and Monitoring Engineer who can drive innovation and growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in the field of performance monitoring.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain high-performance systems that meet business needs.
  • Develop and deploy scripts using Python, Shell, PowerShell, etc. to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in observability systems such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, Dynatrace, or others.
  • Knowledge of modern observability practices including SRE, SLI/SLO, Synthetic, APM, RUM.
  • Script development skills in languages such as Python, Shell, PowerShell, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab, GitLab Runner, Jenkins, etc.
  • Understanding of ITIL or similar ITSM frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Agile framework experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of IT production backup and resilience setup.
  • Understanding of distributed systems concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of Red Hat Linux administration and performance management.
  • Notions of Ansible and Ansible Tower.
  • Notions of containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Nomad, OpenShift.
  • Experience with any cloud platform preferably IBM Cloud.
  • Ability to collaborate with Paris team when necessary.
