Senior Data Engineer Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to design and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance data processing pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements, ensuring seamless data integration and analysis.
  • Design and implement dimensional and fact tables, identify and implement data transformation/cleansing requirements, and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models with associated metadata.
  • Develop highly scalable and reliable data processing pipelines using GCP and Google BigQuery, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Provide research and high-level design for data transformation and integration from source applications to end-user BI solutions, driving business value through data-driven insights.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in data warehousing, data engineering, or data integration projects.
  • At least 3 years of experience in designing and implementing data processing pipelines, with a strong background in SQL and relational databases.
  • Expertise in GCP & Google BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Composer (Airflow), Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Function, and GCS.
Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with AWS and Azure Cloud platforms.
  • Experience in integrating data from various sources, including APIs, XML, and JSON formats.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
