Hotel Search and Distribution Expert

We are looking for a skilled software engineer to join our team as a hotel search and distribution expert. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing microservices with low-latency architecture to support real-time hotel search and distribution.

  • The successful candidate will design and implement custom algorithms and data models to optimize pricing, availability, and inventory workflows.
  • The candidate will own end-to-end modules from design to deployment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • They will utilize AI developer tools such as Claude and Cursor to accelerate development, participate in rigorous code reviews, and contribute to a CI/CD pipeline that supports frequent, reliable, and automated deployments.
  • A strong understanding of distributed systems, fault tolerance, backpressure, and scalability is essential, as well as experience with MySQL, MongoDB, or ScyllaDB.
  • Familiarity with data consistency models, circuit breakers, internal DSLs, and low-latency API design is also required.
  • The ideal candidate will be proficient in Grafana and Prometheus, having tuned systems for high throughput and sub-50ms latencies.
  • They must be comfortable working in a remote team environment with a culture of ownership, documentation, and asynchronous communication.
  • Passion for clean code, testability, and driving engineering excellence via automation and tooling is essential.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong experience with MySQL, MongoDB, or ScyllaDB.
  • Built distributed systems using SQS, Kinesis; solid understanding of fault tolerance, backpressure, and scalability.
  • Familiarity with data consistency models, circuit breakers, internal DSLs, and low-latency API design.
  • Proficient with Grafana, Prometheus; have tuned systems for high throughput and sub-50ms latencies.
  • Comfortable working in a remote team with a culture of ownership, documentation, and async communication.
  • Passion for clean code, testability, and driving engineering excellence via automation and tooling.
