Senior Financial Planning Analyst Job Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity to excel in a senior financial planning analyst role.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis, with expertise in leading financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for global organizations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive financial planning strategies to drive business growth
  • Analyzing marketing campaign spend, conducting variance analysis, and delivering actionable insights to inform investment decisions
  • Partnering with senior leaders to optimize investments and drive cost efficiencies
  • Presenting financial performance and trends to stakeholders through clear and concise reporting
  • Ensuring data accuracy in tools like Allocadia and Ariba, and driving process improvements and automation across finance workflows

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis, with expertise in marketing finance functions
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Hands-on experience with Allocadia, Ariba, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
  • Strong communication skills – ability to simplify complex data for non-financial audiences
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Education: Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field (B.Com, MBA, M.Com preferred)

Bonus: Knowledge of GAAP and local financial regulations may be advantageous.
