Project Leadership Opportunity

This role involves overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery for irrigation and solar pump projects. You will be responsible for managing vendors, contractors, and suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead the execution of irrigation and solar pump EPC projects from planning to commissioning, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and with required quality & safety standards.
  • Strategy Development: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation, formulate strategies for cost optimization, efficiency, and scalability, and drive market expansion opportunities in irrigation and solar pumping solutions.
  • Vendor & Procurement Management: Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors, contractors, and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Financial Oversight: Approve vendor bills, monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensure timely client billing, certification, and payment collection, and provide financial insights and project profitability reports to management.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, provide training, performance monitoring, and career development for team members, foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for government agencies, clients, and farmers, handle liaisoning with state and central government departments, and build strong relationships with local authorities, irrigation boards, and distribution companies (DISCOMs).
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure projects adhere to all statutory, legal, and environmental compliances, manage government approvals, subsidies, and scheme-related documentation.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Enforce quality control measures and safety standards across sites, oversee complete documentation, reporting, and dashboard management, submit timely progress updates and MIS reports to senior management.
