Job Description

  • We are seeking a seasoned Data Science Leader to spearhead our Pricing and Promotion strategies. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment, and driving data-driven decision-making.
  • This role requires expertise in Statistical/ML techniques, as well as experience with Azure cloud services and Agile methodology.
  • You will work closely with process owners, product owners, and business stakeholders to create executable commercial and financial strategies that drive business growth.
  • Your primary goal will be to deliver timely and accurate data insights that inform pricing and promotion decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Data Science Teams: Develop and deploy statistical/machine learning models to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Work with senior stakeholders to communicate complex data insights and recommendations.
  • Analytical Leadership: Provide guidance on complex data analysis, including Price elasticity, Post Event Analytics, and data visualization.
  • Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and refine pricing strategies in the CPG sector.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a high-performing team culture, providing mentorship and guidance to team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Sales Analytics/Sales Management/Revenue Management.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VBA and Macros).
  • Business storytelling and communicating data insights in business consumable format.
  • Fluent in one Visualization tool like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services is Preferred.
  • Deep grounding in analytical logic, enabling the translation of complex data into powerful insights.
  • Proficiency in using PowerPoint to create visually compelling presentations that resonate with senior audiences.
  • Experience with Agile methodology for team work and analytics 'product' creation.
  • Proven track record in building executable commercial and financial strategies.
