Senior Business Development Manager

Nouryon, a global leader in sustainable specialty chemicals, is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in the Crop Protection segment.
Role Overview
- As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for achieving annual sales targets and business growth by identifying new opportunities and developing strategic plans to capture them.
- You will serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, understanding their needs, and building strong relationships to drive business success.
- Manage distributors to ensure high-quality product and service delivery to end-customers while maintaining a competitive market presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual targets, including identifying new business opportunities and managing existing customer relationships.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the Agro Chemicals industry, with expertise in Crop Protection and Surfactants applications.
- Serve as a lead contracts negotiator on commercial terms, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal departments to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts to ensure optimal product availability planning.
- Establish long-term customer relationships, fortifying Nouryon's position at key accounts.
Requirements
- University degree or higher in Chemistry or related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales/marketing within the Agro Chemicals industry, specifically in Crop Protection and Surfactants applications.
- Excellent command of English and strong communication skills, particularly in customer-facing interactions.
- Able to work under pressure and willing to travel frequently.
