Project Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Project Coordinator to support our Global Pro Bono program in Bengaluru, India.

The selected candidate will provide project management and logistical support to corporate volunteers providing pro bono consulting services to local social sector organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Development & Implementation:
    • Identify host client organizations and develop Scope of Works reflecting the specific areas of intervention requested by local host client organizations.
    • Support host client organizations in preparing for the arrival of corporate volunteers, arrange stakeholder meetings.
    • Participate in conference calls with corporate volunteers and provide advice on SOW delivery.
    • Act as the interface between stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
    • Meetings with corporate volunteers and host client organizations, prepare financial reports.
  • Logistics:
    • Procure accommodations and transportation for corporate volunteers, coordinate program launch and closing events.
    • Prepare Bengaluru-related guides for project guides, orient new corporate volunteers upon arrival.
    • Manage project travel logistics and act as a resource for corporate volunteers.
    • Monitor security arrangements for corporate volunteers.
Requirements
  1. Must be based in Bengaluru with in-depth area knowledge.
  2. College degree in project management, organizational development or related field.
  3. Minimum 5-10 years of experience.
  4. Excellent writing and communications skills.
  5. Ability to conduct Gap and SWOT analysis.
  6. Experience working with cross-cultural teams and/or skills-based volunteering programs.
  7. Ability to multi-task and manage diverse tasks simultaneously.
  8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  9. Fluent in English, fluency in Kannada a plus.
  10. Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  11. Experience in virtual and in-person presentation skills.
