About the Role:

This role is responsible for business management (planning and administration) in Global Corporate & Investment Banking at MGS, ensuring the stable operations of respective departments within GCIB.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Support Head of GCIB in the development of business strategy, take a lead role for implementation of global and/or regional initiative and business strategy.
  • Financial Management: Monitor the department's financial performance, assess against projected targets and/or thresholds, track the department's revenue and expense budget, manage MIS and initiate periodical update/reporting.
  • Customer Relations: Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders, work in partnership with overseas onshore branches and Head Office to develop strategies to promote business growth.
  • Team Development: Act as a role model to team members, support, coach and guide junior team members on complex issues.
  • Operational Risk: Responsible for monitoring all business risk profiles, setting up a governance framework for the newly established team, supporting internal and external audits.
Candidate Profile:
  • 2-4+ years of experience in reporting and/or business management or related fields.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills and an ability to build partnerships.
  • Highly organized, with a structured and logical approach, and an ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities.
  • At a minimum, proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, are required.
