Job Summary:

The Lead Accounts Payable is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable team, ensuring seamless accounting processes and compliance with regulatory requirements.

About You:

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional with exceptional leadership skills to fill this key role. As a Lead Accounts Payable, you will oversee all aspects of accounts payable, including vendor management, invoice processing, and disbursements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project accounting.
  • Supervise monthly closing of financial records and posting of month-end information to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
  • Manage vendor relations, vendor invoice processing, tax-related matters, and internal control monitoring.
  • Track financial expenditures and maintain a database to present reports to senior management.
  • Present operating budgets for approval and monitor spending for adherence to budget, recommending variances as necessary.
  • E nsure systems, policies, and procedures adhere to bank policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Execute external and internal audits, providing all required information to auditors to facilitate accurate and fast execution.
  • Administer projects, ensuring work according to technical specifications and managing work as departmental requirement.
  • Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders.
  • Ensure compliance to regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct trainings for teams as required to deliver high-quality performance.
