
Business Development Representative

To drive business growth, we seek a skilled Sales Officer to identify and acquire new current account customers in targeted segments.
- Develop strategies to introduce and acquire new CA customers in identified segments, ensuring timely reference generation from specified catchment areas.
- Evaluate and source quality current accounts, focusing on product mix, segment suitability, and constituent mix.
- Provide initial customer handholding and M+1 activation services, offering informed advice on products and documentation, facilitating account opening within stipulated timeframes, and familiarizing customers with branch service standards and processes.
- Proactively register and activate acquired customers for direct banking channels.
- Collaborate with the Business Relationship Leader in catchment mapping and scoping exercises, providing regular feedback on opportunities, customer needs, and competition benchmarking.
- Analyze transactional banking needs of customers to meet and exceed defined targets of new customer acquisition month-on-month.
- Adhere strictly to organization-defined selling norms and guidelines from internal and external regulators.
- Maintain high-quality sourcing aligned with bank policies.
