Senior Data Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our production technology team.

This role involves utilizing various tools like BigQuery, PostgreSQL and Python to transform raw data into structured insights that inform strategic business decisions across the organization.

You will work with various databases to support data engineering and science initiatives.

The main stakeholders for this role include the immediate data team, operations and product, as well as external clients whom you will engage with through data-driven analysis and storytelling.

This position requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and effective communication to drive meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop reports and data outputs to present key business metrics.
  • Write advanced SQL queries to analyze large datasets and identify trends.
  • Utilize Python for advanced analytics, automation, and data processing tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, design experiments, and uncover actionable insights.
  • Deliver clear, concise insights and recommendations to stakeholders using data visualizations and presentations.
Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis toolpak).
  • Experience writing Python for data manipulation, automation, or visualization (pandas, matplotlib, seaborn).
  • Hands-on experience working with BigQuery or other cloud-based data warehouses and JSON data structures.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or other modern data tools.
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time.
  • Limited travel may be required depending on team needs.
