Senior Business Intelligence Specialist

Transforming business insights requires a data-driven approach to inform strategic decisions.

As a Senior Business Intelligence Specialist, you will play a vital role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business growth. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in technical expertise, automation, problem-solving, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and organize structured and unstructured datasets for analysis.
  • Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights using Python, SQL, and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for management and operational teams using Power BI or Tableau.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide actionable data-driven solutions.
  • Contribute to process improvements by identifying gaps and recommending enhancements to increase efficiency.
  • Automate recurring reporting and analytical tasks using AI/ML-based tools and scripting.
  • Manage and optimize databases to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.
  • Present complex findings in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (Python, SQL, Excel/Google Sheets).
  • Hands-on experience with visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
  • Ability to work with large, complex datasets and build analytical models.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical and structured mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain insights clearly.
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp domain knowledge and industry context.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with a sense of ownership and responsibility.
