Key Responsibilities Designing data models using Power BI Desktop and DAX Data Analysis Expressions Cleaning and transforming data using Power Query Editor Integrating data from multiple sources SQL Excel cloud services APIs Creating interactive dashboards and reports tailored to business needs Implementing visualizations that clearly communicate KPIs and trends Optimizing performance of reports for speed and usability Publishing reports and managing scheduled data refreshes Monitoring report usage and performance Updating dashboards based on evolving business requirements Working with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback Collaborating with data engineers analysts and business teams Documenting solutions and providing training or support to end users Setting up row-level security RLS to control data access Managing workspace permissions and user roles in Power BI Service Integrating AI features like Q A visuals or predictive analytics Embedding Power BI reports into other platforms e g SharePoint Teams Required Qualifications Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science Business Analytics Data Science or a related field 4 years of experience in BI Development Hands-on experience with data analytics tools e g SQL Python Power BI Tableau Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience working with cross-functional teams marketing finance operations Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in SQL for querying databases Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI Tableau or Looker Strong Excel skills including pivot tables VLOOKUP and advanced formulas Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts Working with cloud platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud in some roles
