Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic leader to oversee new product launch management across various portfolio segments. As the head of this function, you will be responsible for driving excellence in launch management and achieving successful execution.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Partner with regional leaders and key functions to ensure timely adherence to launch milestones.
  • Drive innovation and best practices in launch management, using dashboards, templates, and tools for efficient planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate data on launch timelines and replenishment plans.
  • Lead cross-functional planning, including resource allocation, material planning, financial assessments, and capacity planning.
  • Foster talent development through coaching, performance management, and setting clear expectations.
  • Manage launch calendars, optimize governance processes, and partner with senior management as needed.
  • Ensure effective communication of launch status across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, capable of driving new product launches globally and aligning cross-functional teams for success.

Requirements:
  • Masters degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • 20+ years of experience in planning, new product launch, or a related role in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Deep knowledge of planning, product development, regulatory processes, and launch management.
  • Familiarity with pre-clinical, clinical, CMC, quality, regulatory, and commercial functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled at driving decisions and solving issues within an organization.
