Job Title: Financial Services Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To explain and assist vendors with the accounts payable process, ensuring all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure accuracy in payment processes
  • Analyze bank statements and discrepancies in payment procedures
  • Generate and approve vendor invoices, ensuring timely payment
  • Resolve any vendor payment queries, maintaining excellent customer service standards
  • Prepare payment record documents for audits, providing accurate financial information

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field preferred, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and laws governing the field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable and bookkeeping, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detailed-oriented individual with good communication and negotiation skills, able to resolve issues efficiently
