Quality Analyst Role

As a Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that only well-designed and built work packages get through quality testing. You will also automate repetitive tests where appropriate to eliminate wasted effort, cost, and risk of manual error.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Automating tests to minimize execution time and obtain quick feedback
  • Executing tests on a continuous basis triggered automatically by change events
  • Minimizing the execution time for automated tests
  • Providing metrics to the business and team focusing on quality and quality improvement

You will work closely with quality automation specialists to write and analyze automated tests. Additionally, you will choose the right set of tools to help testing and reuse existing tooling, adopting quality center of excellence tools where appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have a proven application of testing methodologies, including Agile testing methods such as test-driven development and behavior-driven development. They should also have practical experience of testing ideas, products, designs, planning, and execution.
