Job Overview:

The role of a Business Development Associate is to identify and engage potential business leads in the USA market through prospecting activities. This position plays a crucial part in supporting sales teams by building a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Use sales tools to research, identify, and connect with potential clients in the logistics and supply chain industry.
  2. Maintain an accurate database of qualified leads with updated contact and company information.
  3. Send personalized connection requests and introductory messages to prospects.
  4. Track and manage conversations with prospects, ensuring timely follow-ups.
  5. Collaborate with sales teams to align prospecting strategies with business goals.
  6. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities within the U.S. logistics and freight forwarding space.
  7. Prepare and share weekly reports on prospecting activities, lead generation metrics, and conversion rates.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • 0–2 years of experience in lead generation, prospecting, or sales support (freshers with strong knowledge can apply).
  • Familiarity with sales tools and CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently during U.S. night hours.
  • Attention to detail, with strong organizational and research skills.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn about the logistics industry.
