We are seeking a skilled Information Security Specialist to join our team.

">Job Title: Information Security Specialist

A successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's infrastructure. As part of this role, you will design, implement, and maintain Zscaler solutions to protect against cyber threats.

  • Mandatory Skills:
  • 4-7 years of IT network experience with strong exposure to Infrastructure security and Proxy.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in designing and implementing Zscaler solutions.
  • Ability to gather required information to arrive at an optimal solution.
  • Good hands-on experience in migrating proxy solutions to Zscaler solutions.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in designing and integrating Zscaler solutions with existing authentication servers using protocols such as LDAP, IWA, IWA-direct, SSO, Active Directory.
  • Experience in deploying and supporting forward proxy, explicit, and transparent Web Content Filtering / Web Proxy configurations.
  • Advanced networking troubleshooting skills and extensive knowledge of web connectivity and protocols (WCCP, PAC files, TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, FTP, Telnet, SSH, etc.).

Responsibilities include:

  • Fluent in reading, writing, and conversing in English/Japanese languages to establish good coordination and communication with offshore teams.
  • Able to understand requirements and work on solution approach/project deliverables as per given schedules.
  • Participating in meetings with CAB for technical reviews, status updates, and communicating issues.
  • Daily operations involved incident, change, and problem ticket solving.
  • Should be willing to work in rotational shifts covering 24/7 operations including weekend/holidays.
  • Should be able to coordinate with different vendors to solve ongoing issues.
  • Joining critical and high-priority tickets during major/potential major incidents.

  • Ensure the security and integrity of our organization's infrastructure.
  • Design and implement Zscaler solutions.
  • Deploy and support forward proxy, explicit, and transparent Web Content Filtering/Web Proxy configurations.
  • Coordinate with SMEs, stakeholders, and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Participate in technical reviews and communicate project status.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of IT network experience.
  • Strong exposure to Infrastructure security and Proxy.
  • Extensive knowledge of Zscaler solutions and existing authentication protocols.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English/Japanese languages.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and ITIL framework.
