Storage Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Expert to manage and maintain our SAN and storage environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Hitachi Mid-Range and Enterprise storages operations support, including allocation, reclaim, LUN expansion, LUN deletion, and storage disk/LDEVs formatting.

  • Experience with zoning via Cisco SAN Switches, both CLI and GUI, and CCI HORCM is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with storage replication technologies like GAD, HUR, True Copy, and Local Replication is essential.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as OPS Center Analyser and Hi-Track is required.
  • Troubleshooting skills, including checking performance issues at the storage level and IO Errors, are necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day administration for SAN and storage environments.
  • Collaborate with customer's storage support teams.
  • Participate in problem-solving and troubleshooting for assigned tasks, functional areas, or projects.
  • Support design, operation, workflow, and issue resolution for storage infrastructure.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in handling majority of activities mentioned in the scope above.
  • Experience in handling Hitachi storages and Brocade switches infrastructure.
  • Exposure to Operations and Management activities on Hitachi Storage(s), Unified compute platforms, various Host O/S including basic cluster management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hitachi Technical certification is desirable.
