Economics Lectureship Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced academic professional to deliver engaging lectures and tutorials on economics, tailored to undergraduate and postgraduate Management courses. The successful candidate will design and develop curriculum materials in line with current economic policies, business practices, and academic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials on economics, adapting to the needs of diverse student groups.
  • Develop innovative curriculum materials, ensuring alignment with industry trends and academic excellence.
  • Guide students in research projects, dissertations, and internships related to economics and management, providing expert mentorship and support.
  • Evaluate student coursework, assignments, presentations, and examinations, applying rigorous assessment criteria.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and guest lectures to enhance applied learning, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Pursue academic research and publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals and conferences in Economics and Management, contributing to the field's advancement.
  • Contribute to departmental meetings, committees, and curriculum enhancement initiatives, leveraging expertise and insights.
  • Maintain currency with economic trends, policy changes, and emerging methodologies, integrating them into teaching and research.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Economics, Applied Economics, Business Economics, or a related field, with a strong academic background.
  • Proven experience in teaching, industry, or research in Economics, demonstrating expertise and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools, statistical software (R, STATA, SPSS), and data interpretation, with a willingness to learn and apply new skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
